They are imperceptibly moving apart at sub-glacial speed, but their separation is constrained by a single hair-fine thread. The projects that come from this event combine a reduced dystopian science fiction aesthetic with a commentary on our current attitudes and fears towards uncertain and unstable futures. The instability and fragility of everything we know. The ubiquitous, ominous and shadowy agencies that threaten to break it. Existential threats.
It speaks of apocalypse fetishism and deep rooted fears. It speaks of deep time, impermanence and the liberation of losing control.
